ABOUT THE DESIGNER/SHOP
Hello! Nice to meet you all. I'm Sharleen Morco -- and mmm-fruit.com is designed and run solely by me.

I'm 21 and a full-time student at CSUS, majoring in Photography. I am also studying Japanese language. I have always been into all things artsy and crafty. The decision to become an artist was one I made when I was four. I would make paper diamond rings for my mother, who always wanted jewelry on her birthday; and I would take hundreds of photographs to please my dad, who was a photographer during his younger days. I picked up the habit of crocheting in 2003; and somewhere along the way, I picked up all sorts of other crafts, including knitting and embroidery.

I'm involved in multiple love affairs with candy, cookies, good food, cameras, and craftiness. I'm very much inspired by food, and I get all oogly-eyed over all things cute. I love fruits; they are, after all, nature's sugar.

I run this shop/website from my cozy home in California. The mmm-fruit.com shop features 100% completely hand-made accessories, gifts, and goodies. None of the products sold here are machine/mass-produced or manufactured outside of my home. All items come from a smoke-free, pet-free environment. Pre-made crocheted/knitted items are stored in plastic bags to keep them free of dust, dirt, and damage.

CARING FOR YOUR PRODUCTS
I include care instructions with every purchase. I highly suggest hand-washing items in cold water and laying them flat to dry (or hanging them; your preference). However, some of the yarns I use are machine-safe for washing and drying. Just make sure to wash them on the delicate or hand-wash setting in cold water and tumble dry low. Please be careful with wool products, as they have a tendency to felt.

ORDERING & PAYMENT
Payment is accepted in the form of PayPal and money orders. Cash and personal checks are not accepted. Credit Card payments must be processed through PayPal. I am not responsible for lost money orders, but check with your post office if this happens because lost or stolen money orders can be replaced. Payment that is sent through the mail will be received and processed first before your products are created/shipped. PayPal eChecks must clear first before the item is shipped out.

California residents, a 7.25% sales tax will be added to your order.

Please allow 1-3 weeks for delivery, since each item is handmade after purchase.

If you have any special requests or need to include additional information (e.g. sizing), please include these in the Special Requests form provided in the shopping cart.

FAQ

Q: Do you do custom orders?
A: Yes and no. Please send me an e-mail with your custom order inquiry and I'll let you know whether or not I'll be able to fulfill your request.

Q: I want to order one of your stationery cards, but I don't want a message printed inside.
A: In the "Special Requests" box of the shopping cart, just state which cards you want blank and they will be printed without any messages.

Q: I noticed a change in prices.
A: Sometimes, prices may increase or decrease to reflect changes in prices of materials, time it takes to create the product, etc.

Q: Do you consign/wholesale your products?
A: Yes, but not always. I have consigned/wholesaled my products to a few stores (e.g. Plain Mabel and copacetique). If you are interested in carring my products in your store, please contact me via e-mail and we can discuss details such as availability and pricing.

Q: Want to exchange links?
A: Sure thing. Send me an e-mail with your link, and I'll return the favor on my next update.

Q: What's this goodie bag that came with my order?
